Our Profile

The CMMU is a success or to the Ad Hoc Committee which was formed in 2002. In 1993 when the Marketing Board was closed and the produce trade liberalized, there was no mechanize set in place to manage the quality and market of produce.

Commodities

Cocoa and coffee are the country's major export crops, while rice and palm oil constitute the two most important staple foods. The need to add value to these products is becoming important with farmers income being stagnant and at times diminishing.
